Design for new “I Voted” sticker revealed

Mike Thomas

You’ll soon be walking out of the polls with a new piece of flair stuck to your shirt on voting day. According to an announcement on Secretary of State Frank LaRose’s website, the winning design for the ‘I Voted’ sticker contest has been chosen:

“This isn’t just about a sticker. This is about something much bigger than that,” said LaRose. “This is about getting young Ohioans excited about voting —this impactful, powerful act.”

The winner, 12th grader Emily Leggfrom Teays Valley High School in Pickaway County, earned over 15,000 votes from the public.

Congrats, Emily! We look forward to proudly wearing your design the next time we visit our local polling station.
