After 23 years, the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show has been canceled.

L Brands CEO Les Wexner sent a memo to staff last week saying broadcast networks are no longer “the right fit” for the annual televised lingerie fashion show.

“…fashion is a business of change. We must evolve and change to grow. With that in mind, we have decided to re-think the traditional Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show,” wrote Wexner, per deadline.com.

Long-time model Shanina Shaik told the Daily Telegraph the cancellation may be due to the company working on new ways to rebrand the show.

No official word yet on what form the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show could take in the future.
