A family-owned a meat market has closed suddenly after over 60 years in business.
Meat Packers Outlet posted on Facebook that yesterday was their last day of business.
“After 61 years of serving the city of Columbus we are sorry to say we have closed our doors as of January 22, 2019,” they wrote. “Thank you for your patronage over the years.”

The business opened at 317 S 5th St. in 1957.
No information was provided as to why it unexpectedly closed.
Meat Packers Outlet carried beef, lunch meat, cheeses, chicken, pork, and various freezer items.
