Ah, the weekend. The only thing getting us through the work week. This time around in the city we’ll see Two Dollar Radio Headquarter celebrating its second birthday on Saturday and the Columbus Flea on Sunday. And if you’re looking to laugh at some “athletes,” the 3-on-3 basketball tourney at Land-Grant on Sunday should provide you with many opportunities.

Happy two years, Two Dollar Radio HQ! This Saturday it will be hosting a celebration where visitors can meet up with authors and writers as well as enjoy drinks and specials on books.

Apple Pie Takeover @ Brothers Drake Meadery

You like apples? How ’bout them Brothers Drake apples?! The meadery is bringing back its first ever mead they created with a day full of apple mead flights, bobbing for apples, and even apple pie.

Endless Summer—An October BBQ Extravaganza @ Rehab Tavern

Summer never ends at Rehab Tavern. Stop out at the Franklinton bar to feast on smoked meats and sip back BBQ themed cocktails. This is the final installment of the outdoor event so soak up the sun while you still can!

It’s a collision of local musicians and organizations and sports. Who has the best jump shot for charity? This event is hosted by We Amply Voices (formerly known as The Dick & Jane Project) and proceeds will go towards benefiting the newly named program.
