Warmth and sunshine are in store for us this Saturday, giving you the perfect opportunity to spend some time outside. Columbus & Franklin County Metro Parks have come up with an incentive for you to shake the rust off your joints from this winter while also taking advantage of all the amazing parks in the area.

The Metroparks Passport Program encourages you to visit all 19 Metro Parks. Using your passport as a guide, locate the three destinations within each park. For each one you visit, a park employee will add a stamp to your passport.

Once every page is stamped, send your book to the Metro Park headquarters located at 1069 W. Main St in Westerville to receive an exclusive Metro Parks t-shirt (don’t sweat, they’ll send it back to you). Once every box on every page is stamped, you will receive a Metro Parks swag bag, too!

You can pick up a free passport booklet at the Metro Park headquarters or at one of the nature centers in battelle Darby Creek, Blacklick Woods, Blendon Woods or Highbanks.
