Cornerback Jordan Hancock commits to Ohio State
Ohio State football has landed a commitment from one of the top 2021 cornerbacks in the country, or perhaps it is more accurate to say another of the top 2021 cornerbacks in the country.
North Gwinnett High School (Suwanee, Ga.) defensive back Jordan Hancock flipped from wanting to play for Clemson to announcing that he will head to OSU. According to 247Sports, he is the sixth-ranked corner in the country.
The Buckeyes had already received word that fourth-ranked Jakailin Johnson out of St. Louis, Mo. wants to play for OSU.
Even before Hancock’s commitment, the Buckeyes had the top-rated class for 2021 recruits.

There are 19 players in that class, 16 of whom are 4-star or 5-star athletes.
Hancock, a 6-foot, 170-pound defensive back, recorded 2 interceptions and 12 pass breakups during his junior season.
“[Ohio State] was very consistent, they never let off the gas. They were the first big school to offer me, I wasn’t even ranked when they offered, so they were the first school to take a chance on me,” he told ESPN.
