Start your morning off right at Tupelo Doughnuts off Billingsley Rd., or swing by their food truck just outside of Beechwold Bicycles. Why Tupelo? These doughnuts draw from the same sweetness of the honey for which the company earned its name–the Tupelo white trees found in Apalachicola Bay in Florida where the owner’s family used to travel–and offer the same comfort to customers that the family found there, all while producing unique combinations of flavors.

Get there early though–the store closes at 10 a.m., and the food truck shuts down at noon. And be sure to check out some of the fan favorites: the Rose Water Almond doughnut and the Cinnamon roll.

For a sports fix, or for even just some game day fixings, Rudy’s has opened up in the former location of Palle in Grandview. The new sports bar has a wide range of lunch options available for dine-in or takeout. From meatball subs to street tacos, Rudy’s has it all.
