“Not-great sales” force Short North bakery closure

In a heartfelt message posted on Facebook over the weekend, the owners of Laughlin’s Bakery in the Short North announced that the business will be closing permanently:

Located at 15th and East 2nd Avenue, Laughlin’s bakery opened in the winter of 2014 when then-opera singer Jonas Laughlin changed careers following a vocal chord injury.
