Quit your wine-ing, inaugural winter booze fest announced

Just can’t wait for the next Columbus Summer Wine Festival? Looks like you won’t have to (minus the “Summer” part, at least).

The organizers behind the popular annual wine event, MGN and CD102.5 for the Kids, are expanding the franchise by adding a winter event. Like the summer event, proceeds from the festival will benefit CD102.5 for the Kids.

“The Columbus Summer Wine Festival has succeeded beyond our expectations,” said festival co-owner and president of MGN, Mike Gallicchio in a release. “Columbus has such a great community of wine lovers, and we think the winter event is right for Columbus.”
