Police ask public for help after 76-year-old man attacked

Columbus police are asking for the public’s help in identifying two suspects they say were caught on video assaulting a 76-year-old man at an ATM in broad daylight.
According to the police report, the incident took place at 3:50 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 6 at 2700 Cleveland Ave. The victim went to the ATM at PNC Bank when the suspects punched him and took his money.
Photos of the suspects were released Wednesday morning.

On September 6, 2020 at 3:50pm, the 76-year-old victim was getting money from the ATM at 2700 Cleveland Ave. when 2 suspects attacked him, punched him & took his money.

Anyone with information about the incident is being asked to call 614-645-4665 or to email Detective Brett Laird, who is overseeing the case.
