Reader Poll: Weigh in on coronavirus coverage

Changes are coming rapidly to Ohio in the wake of the coronavirus. The state has gone from zero confirmed cases less than a week ago to four confirmed cases in the state, including one of unknown origin. To combat the virus, universities across the state are moving to online instruction, including OSU. This follows the decision to drastically curtail attendance at last weekend’s Arnold Sports Festival.

Governor Mike DeWine announced measures on Wednesday to limit the number of visitors in the state’s nursing home and assisted living facilities to one visitor per resident per day. In the coming days, DeWine said official limits will be placed on large gatherings across the state as well. Smaller events, such as the Dublin St. Patrick’s Day parade, have been cancelled by local governments.
