Making his Marky Mark on Columbus car sales
Actor Mark Wahlberg famously told Stephen Colbert back in 2018 that he loves Columbus, and his recent acquisition of a fourth car dealership here proves it.
The latest addition to his portfolio is a ten-acre complex at 770 E. Dublin-Granville Road in Worthington. The previously named Jack Maxton Chevrolet will now be Mark Wahlberg Chevrolet of Worthington.
He and business partner Jay Feldman also own Mark Wahlberg Buick GMC, Mark Wahlberg Airstream & RV, and Mark Wahlberg Chevrolet, all on West Broad Street.

Wahlberg has said that he loves cars, so expanding his brand to the automotive industry just seemed to be a natural move. “I am continuously looking for ways to innovate my brand and engage in businesses I am passionate about,” Wahlberg said in a statement.
Wahlberg’s business interests in the state extend beyond auto sales. He and Feldman own Wahlburgers restaurants in Cleveland and Cincinnati, and hope to expand in other areas of the state.
He has previously expressed an interest in bringing a Wahlburgers to Columbus specifically, given the success his food trucks have had when he’s brought them to his dealerships in the past.
