Like to ski? Now you can so and benefit those with disabilities.

The Adaptive Sports Connection, a nonprofit organization focusing on improving the lives of those with disabilities by providing sports and recreation opportunities, is holding a fundraising event called Boundless Hope on the Slopes, said Public Relations and Marketing Intern Bethany Swan.

Tickets can be purchased here for select weekends through the end of the ski season. Options include all-day lift tickets for $62, and all-day lift tickets and equipment rentals for $99. All proceeds from ticket sales will support Adaptive Sports Connection. Those who purchase lift tickets for the fundraiser will also receive a free t-shirt.

Adaptive Sports Connection’s mission is helping those with challenges stay happy and healthy by focusing on their abilities, Swan said. Certified professional ski instructors will help adaptive athletes experience downhill skiing in programs that meet the needs of all skiers, regardless of skill level.

“For Adaptive Sports Connection, there is not a barrier to having fun on the slopes,” she said.

Donations to the organization can be made here.
