Fancy a road trip?

An Oberlin-area retreat center is offering a unique event that one might call red hot.

Held from 6:30 to 10:30 p.m. Sept. 17, Common Ground The Cindy North Center For Renewal’s Annual Firewalk is designed to give participants the opportunity for self reflection via mind-body connection.

The four-hour event will be led by Certified Firewalk Instructor Dave Tuscany, and Director of Adult Programs for Common Ground Harry Pepper, Ph.D. The workshop takes place in the outdoor gazebo at Common Ground, which is located in a wooded area along the Vermilion River.

The space offers seminars, youth programming, adult team-building, and a zipline canopy tour. Tickets are $59 per person for the Fire Walk, and the workshop is limited to 70 participants.
