National craft soda brand creating “social soda club” in Short North with scented rooms, installation lighting

While you can typically only find the hip and health-conscious craft soda brand OLIPOP in grocery stores or online, one Short North company is giving them a temporary home in Columbus.

And a really cool one at that.

TENSPACE, located at 930 N. High St. in the Short North, has partnered with OLIPOP to host the brand from May 7 until June 30. The Short North business regularly partners with brands to create “experiential” spaces and art installations with their products.

“Every show at TENSPACE is custom designed, floor to ceiling, for the brand and designed to a theme that connects you to its purpose, not just its product,” said Amanda Raines, Creative Director of Brand and Culture at TenSpace. “At TENSPACE x OLIPOP, you will be transported to the ‘Social Soda Club’ — a world where soda brings us all together and is good for us, too.”

According to Raines, the OLIPOP space will feature a vintage soda bar, soda-tasting flights and even rooms that are scented and color-washed with vibrant lighting. Visitors can even opt to sample their OLIPOP out of 10 foot-long rainbow straws.

The pop-up opens May 7, and will regularly be open from Wednesday through Sunday. The space will hold occasional ticketed events through the two month pop-up, featuring everything from yoga nights to build-your-own OLIPOP float sessions.
