Two shootings that took place outside of Columbus restaurants within the past month have been linked to the same man.

Jesus Castro, 18, was arrested earlier this month for the fatal shooting of 18 year-old Marshawn Davis in the breezeway of the Rooster’s restaurant at 2454 Dublin-Granville Rd.

The shooting took place on Feb. 18, and Castro’s bond was set at $2 million yesterday.

Columbus police believe Castro was also responsible for a March 6 shooting in the vicinity of Ena’s Caribbean Kitchen, located at 2444 Cleveland Ave. in Linden. Castro was arraigned for the Linden shooting on March 16, while he was already in jail for the Rooster’s shooting.

Two victims, aged 27 and 34, received gunshot wounds and were transported to a local hospital for treatment following the March 6 incident.
