For the owner of Mr. T’s pizza Jeff Armstrong, things went from bad to worse.

Not only had his father—the original Mr. T and namesake of the eatery—recently been hospitalized, but Mr. T’s Pizza was also broken into and burglarized, Armstrong announced on the restaurant’s Facebook yesterday evening.

Mr. T’s Pizza is located at 207 W. Johnstown Rd. in Gahanna.

“All inventory was stolen out of our stock cooler among other stuff,” a statement from the pizzeria reads. “Due to an ongoing investigation we are limited in what we can say.”

Mr. T’s, which has served the Columbus area, between its previous and current locations, for nearly thirty years, was considering closure late last year, Armstrong told 614NOW in an interview, before business turned a corner for the better.

Now, the pizzeria needs your help. Armstrong noted that Mr. T’s is still open, and will fulfil the orders it can, even though much of his inventory was stolen.

“We will continue to do our absolute best with what we have,” the eatery’s statement reads.
