One person hospitalized following road rage shooting

A recent road rage incident resulted in one man being shot and hospitalized.

According to Columbus Police, at 7:36 p.m. on Oct. 4, a 36 year-old man was driving near the intersection of Cleveland Avenue and Belcher Drive, when he and another motorist got into a verbal altercation.

As the man then exited his vehicle to approach the other driver, the driver began firing a handgun at him. According to Police, the suspect fired at the victim three times, and he was hit once in the leg.

The victim was transported to a local hospital. As of yesterday he was still receiving medical care, and was in stable condition.
