Police said the shooter fired from outside the restaurant while the victim was inside. They have not released any information about possible suspects yet.

The same Roosters location was the scene of a fatal shooting on Feb. 18. An 18 year old Columbus man named Marshawn Davis was shot and killed by 18 year old Jesus Castro. Davis was standing in the breezeway of the eatery when Castro opened the door and shot him.

Castro has since been indicted on multiple counts, including aggravated murder.
