An individual police believe had a role in a shooting at a Roosters Wings last month has been arrested.

According to court documents, 20 year-old Travaughn McConnell has been charged with attempted murder and multiple counts of felonious assault. He was arrested on May 21, two days after a warrant for his arrest had been issued.

The shooting occurred just before 7 p.m. on April 12. A Roosters employee was shot and injured in the incident.

According to court documents, McConnell took the alleged shooter to the Roosters—located at 2454 E. Dublin Granville Rd.—where the target of the shooting was identified. The Roosters employee, who was not the intended target, was shot instead.

The Roosters Wings location was also the site of another fatal shooting in February. Roosters decided to close the location shortly after the April shooting.
