Massive national smoothie chain opens only Central Ohio location

The artist concept formerly known as Jamba Juice now boasts a Columbus location.

The health-focused eatery, which was officially shortened to just Jamba in 2019, opened in Polaris Fashion Place earlier this month.

Jamba is located on the mall’s upper level, near the main entrance.

The spot for smoothies, bowls and wraps quietly announced its intentions to open at Polaris at the beginning of this year.

The new restaurant is Jamba’s only location in Central Ohio. The chain—which boasts over 700 eateries in more than 30 US States, in addition to numerous international locations— operates several other storefront in the Buckeye State, with one in Bowling Green, one  in Youngstown and two in Toledo.

Jamba was founded, as Jamba Juice, in 1990 in San Luis Obispo, California by Kirk Perron. Today, the concept is owned by Focus Brands.
