Sweet shop featuring extreme shakes, ice cream sundaes and more now open

Extreme milkshakes, chocolate-dipped strawberries and a whole lot of ice cream now has a new home in Canal Winchester.

Kai’s Sugar Shack, a concept that was previously located in Eastland Mall and first opened in 2021, opened for business at the end of August inside its new brick and mortar home.

Kai’s is located at 3612 Gender Rd. in Canal Winchester, inside the Gender Road Towne Centre, which is just south of the intersection of Gender Road and Refugee Road.

Kai’s features a variety of gourmet sweet treats, headlined by their extreme shakes, which feature entire pieces of cheesecake, full cupcakes, candy and more. Kai’s also offers Ice Cream Cookie sandwiches and a number of shakes, like their brightly-colored Unicorn Dream Shake, Banana Splits and their CinnaButter Swirl Sundae.
