This cowboy themed bar could be coming to Easton – mechanical bull and all
Buckle up and hold on tight, Columbus: a chance for you to show off your mechanical bull riding and line dancing skills appears to be in the works at Easton.
Professional Bull Riders (PBR) Cowboy Bar & Smokehouse applied for a liquor license in the now-closed Abuelo’s Mexican Restaurant location at 3950 Gramercy St. No other information about a Columbus opening has been shared. Their other locations in cities like Atlanta and Louisville appear to be wildly popular, garnering thousands of Instagram followers and good reviews.
This bar concept claims to be, “An authentic country experience, marrying an electric combination of ‘cowboy cool’ and big-time entertainment. Featuring a mechanical bull or two, throw in an ice-cold beer and it’s every cowboy and cowgirl’s nighttime oasis.”

Nothing pairs with a cold beer and watching people fall off of a fake bull quite like Texas-style barbecue. Their other 14 locations serve Lockhart Smokehouse Texas BBQ, with menus featuring brisket, whole chickens, slaw, mac n’ cheese, smoked baked beans, and other Texas favorites.
“PBR is more than a bar; it’s an attitude and way of life that celebrates your free spirit…your wild side,” their website explains. Beer, bull riding, and BBQ – the perfect formula for a night out at Easton Town Center.
