This Downtown family festival happening this weekend offers free Santa Claus visits, carousel rides, and free hot chocolate
Looking for some holiday cheer? Well, it’s here this weekend!
The Holiday Extravaganza, hosted by Columbus’ Downtown Inc. is on December 7th from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m.
BROUGHT TO YOU BY
Park at the Columbus Commons Main Garage (55 E. Rich St.) or Underground Garage (191 S. Third St.) and spend the evening surrounded by twinkling lights and Christmas cheer.
Here are some of the recommended stops:
Lazarus Building, 50 W. Town St, 4–7 p.m.
Photos with Santa & Mrs. Claus, plus balloon artists, facepainting, arts and crafts, and letter-writing to Santa! There’s even a Secret Santa station where kids can shop for little gifts for their loved ones.
Columbus Commons, 160 S. High St., 4–9 p.m.
Free hot chocolate, live music, photo booth, and carousel rides await. Plus, a little extra holiday “cheer” for the adults, with a hot boozy beverage station (for purchase).
The Downtown Riverfront
It will be decked out in more than 40 sculptural lights that will provide passersby and Milestone 229 patrons with an unforgettable experience.
