After 4 month hiatus, popular pizzeria reopens in new, anticipated location

A popular spot known for inventive Detroit-style pies is back and better than ever.

The popular pizzeria, Pizza Nerds, posted a statement last August that after “gun to head negotiations” with the lessee, ones that allegedly required a “substantial financial investment” to continue sharing the space “with no independent takeover date insight,” the pizzeria had decided to move on from its former home in Newark. 

They then took over the former Superchef’s location, at 1376 Cherry Bottom Rd. in Gahanna, but their Newark storefront was closed for the time being while they made this transition.

And after about four months of anticipation, Pizza Nerds is open again! They announced yesterday that their hours this week will be:
Friday: 3-10
Saturday: 12-10
Sunday: 12-8
