These are Columbus’ top 5 pizzas of 2024, according to 614feast
Picking my favorite pizzas of 2024 was hard—mainly because I eat a lot of pizza, and let’s be honest, pizza is almost always a hit. From cracker-thin tavern cut to classic pie cut, to big, cheesy deep-dish triangles and thick Detroit-style squares, I’m ready to feast. Let’s get into it.
Terita’s Pizza (3905 Cleveland Ave)
My go-to toppings at any pizzeria are pepperoni and sausage, and Terita’s takes both to another level. Their house-made sausage is legendary—packed with flavor and just the right amount of kick. My favorite is the Meat Lovers, pepperoni, sausage, ham, and bacon. High-quality ingredients from top to bottom explain why Terita’s has been a North End staple for over 60 years.
Aracri Pizzeria (51 E Gay St)
Classic Italian recipes with a Columbus twist—Aracri Pizzeria has been family-owned for over 30 years, and their experience shows in every bite. My top pick is the New York-Style Pepperoni Pizza, a classic done to perfection. Feeling adventurous? Go for the Buffalo Chicken Pizza, it’s out-of-this-world tasty.
Meister’s Bar (1168 Chambers Rd)
When you think “dive bar pizza”, you probably don’t expect this level of greatness. Meister’s 16-inch deep dish is pure comfort food. It’s extra cheesy, loaded with toppings, and has that warm, home-cooked feel. My favorite is the Classic Deep Dish, packed with meatballs, pepperoni, and mushrooms.

Cardo’s Pizza (3606 Lockbourne Rd)
Cardo’s Sausage Pizza is unforgettable. The sausage has the perfect amount of spice, and the toppings are always edge-to-edge. The crust is the perfect thickness—not too thin, not too thick—with just the right amount of cracker-like crispiness. It’s been one of my favorite pizzas for years, and that hasn’t changed.
Pie of the Tiger (674 N High St)
Their unique hybrid of Sicilian and Detroit-style pizza proves that it’s hip to be square. Their Just Pepperoni is a must-try, made with provolone and jumbo pepperoni topped with red sauce. Another classic is the Meatball Sundae: spicy house-made meatballs, shaved parmesan, ricotta, and Italian seasoning on top of that perfect crust.
If I missed your favorite spot and you wanna pizza me, let me know where I should go next! I’ve probably had it, but narrowing it down to five was part of the fun.
