Four new eateries joining Polaris, including new concept from popular local restaurant owners
Shopping is a form of cardio, by the way, and sometimes you need to fuel up after a spree. Specifically, with pasta, donuts, pancakes, and sushi.
Polaris Fashion Place is bringing four new concepts to their area, according to Polaris’ Advertising Manager Mallory DeLucas and Marketing Director Ben Harrison.
They told 614Now that there’s a concept called Flour – A Modern Pasta Bar, which is a new concept from the family that owns the modern Indian eatery Rooh, which opened in the Short North in 2019. Harrison said that the first-class restaurant and bar will serve made-from-scratch Italian food, craft cocktails, wine, beer, and spirits. It will be located in the Polaris Lifestyle Center, right next to Barnes & Nobles, and it will hopefully be open in early fall of this year.

Next, Sofi’s Mini Donuts, which serves fresh, hot mini donuts covered in various toppings, is constructing a kiosk outside of Abercrombie Kids near the grand entrance. They’re projected to open sometime this summer!
Then, there’s Panda Pancakes, which will serve fresh mini pancakes with candy or sauce toppings, along with specialty coffee drinks, right inside a kiosk in the Food Hall. It will be the first Ohio location for them, and it’s projected to open early this summer.
Last but not least, Ujelei Sushi will also open in the Food Hall this summer, taking over the former Daily Growler space. They’ll serve sushi, snacks, specialty drinks, and grab-and-go options.
