LEGO Zoo roars to life at Columbus main library branch
Kiddos and adults alike will delight in the new Lego display at the Columbus Metro Library’s (CML) main branch downtown, available this summer as a part of the summer reading program festivities. Built by the Ohio LEGO Users Group (OhioLUG), this whimsical creation is a miniature version of our world-famous Columbus Zoo, filled with Easter eggs and little humorous moments.
“Many of the habitats are even based on their real-life counterparts, but with an imaginative LEGO twist!” said the OhioLUG president, per the Columbus Library press release.

BROUGHT TO YOU BY
The build took the group over 40 hours to create — and you can tell by the granular detail and subtle surprises incorporated into each habitat. OhioLUG has built for the library before, in addition to creating displays for the Columbus Museum of Art, and other notable Columbus spots.

See the LEGO Zoo at CML, by the main stairway, through August 8th at 96 S. Grant Ave!
