Discover the father-daughter duo refurbishing and reselling some of the rarest antiques in the country in the Home Issue of ‘Refined’
If home is truly what we make it, then how lucky are we to live in a city full of people helping us do just that?
In our annual home issue of Refined, called “Home Makers,” Pedro and Sylvia (and their orange tabby, Yellow) grace our cover. They’re the father-daughter duo behind the iconic family antique store, Euro Classics Antiques, located at 3317 N. High St., which specializes in rare Arts & Crafts-era furniture you won’t find anywhere else in Columbus, and better yet, Ohio.

And speaking of home, Chef Andrew Smith has turned a corner of Merion Village into one, hosting intimate, elevated dinner parties at his new restaurant Isla. For many, Kim Corrill’s Kida House is a cozy sanctuary for self-care. Margy and Muni of Esther Rum have somehow bottled the warmth of home into their rum, and Ginger, of House of Colour, helps people feel at home in their most permanent residence—their own skin.
Others are helping us build home in the most tangible sense. At Artisans &, we can find incense and handmade plates that make our spaces feel intentional. Al and Allen, with their restoration of The Garden Manor, remind us that a home—like a person—can live many lives.
We’re so excited for this issue, and we hope every page brings you warmth, love, and comfort during this holiday season.
