Summer in the City: The July issue of ‘(614) Magazine’ is your guide to urban summer fun in Columbus
It’s summer everywhere (technically not in the southern hemisphere, I guess), but there’s only one summer in Columbus.
And the July issue of (614) Magazine, which is on stands now, serves as your touchstone to all things summer fun in Ohio’s Capital City, whether that means an unabridged guide of Central Ohio festivals, sporting events, city parks and even outdoor movie screenings, which we might add, are held in some seriously cool locations.
In addition, our new issue also offers a full plate of great new food coverage, with features on a nearly 200 year old Central Ohio sweet shop, atomic-era cocktails, a new gourmet sandwich shop from a longtime Columbus chef, and even a dog-focused, and dog-friendly, distillery.

Speaking of dogs, the July issue of (614) Magazine contains a multi-page profile on adoptable animals from Columbus Humane, and we’re not just talking about dogs and cats.
Throw in a profile on prolific Columbus glass blower (and grass-blower) Will Star, a retelling of a suspected serial poisoner at OSU a century ago, and a fun packed first-person take on a visit to the world’s largest bounce park, and you’ve got yourself an issue.
Check it out below.
