Next year, there will be no need to travel to Columbus’ suburbs to find a pickleball court or a golf course. Actually, even going outside won’t be necessary whatsoever.

A 17,250 square foot multi-use venue is coming to Downtown Columbus, at Astor Park in the Arena District, located at 600 W. Nationwide Blvd.

According to the press release from Pizzuti Cos. and Roth Real Estate Group, Pickle Park & Pub will feature five indoor courts, an outdoor court, plus indoor golf simulators and a full pub, and a patio that overlooks Lower.com field.

“We’ve been dreaming up a space like this for years,” said Dan DeCarlo, co-founder of Pickle Park & Pub. “We wanted to create an amenity that brings people together through movement, competition, food and fun. This location, with its proximity to the stadium and energy of the neighborhood, is the perfect place to bring that dream to life.”

I’m sure many people reading this are asking, “But where will we park?” No worries, though. The building, Astor Park, includes a parking garage with 685 parking spots.

We can expect to be swinging some racquets and clubs in January of 2026. Less than a year to go!
