After closing last year, 50-year-old canoe livery reopens this month

There aren’t a lot of opportunities in Central Ohio to rent a canoe or kayak and travel down a tranquil creek, sheltered in trees, with the only sounds around you being birds singing.

So when Trapper John’s announced they were closing last year, it was understandable we were sad.

But Trapper John’s is officially back on the Big Darby Creek! Nick Coughlin and his fiance, Emily Mayes, bought the canoe livery and have even updated it with some exciting new changes.
