Columbus movie theater debuting the world’s first multi-projection cinema technology called ‘ScreenX’

If you’ve ever sat in a Planetarium and thought, “Wow, a Marvel movie would be really cool here,” then you might be keen on the newest technology hitting the Columbus Market.
ScreenX, the 270-degree panoramic movie experience, displays the movies onto both sides of the theater walls. Unlike a Planetarium, there will nothing be displayed on the ceiling, but watching a movie in a ScreenX theater allows you to feel fully immersed in the movie, with screens surrounding you.

There’s only one theater in Ohio that has this currently, in Elyria, but a Columbus theater is officially debuting ScreenX on May 1! Marcus Crosswoods Cinema, at 200 Hutchinson Ave., will be showing the Marvel movie Thunderbolts to celebrate their new technology.
You can buy tickets and view upcoming ScreenX movies here! Just look for the tag that says SCREENX next to the movie, starting May 1.
