Here’s the new name of the Columbus Crew’s stadium
Lower.com Field is getting a new name. Beginning with the 2026 season, the Columbus Crew SC’s Arena District stadium will officially become ScottsMiracle-Gro Field.
The Crew and ScottsMiracle-Gro announced the multi-year agreement Tuesday morning, marking one of the most significant sponsorship shifts since the stadium opened in 2021. While financial terms were not disclosed, the deal formally ended Lower.com’s tenure as the naming-rights partner. ScottsMiracle-Gro is no stranger to the Crew: the company has supported the club’s natural-grass pitch.
It’s being touted as a forward pass for a long-running partnership.
“The Columbus Crew are proud to call ScottsMiracle-Gro Field our home beginning in 2026,” said Columbus Crew President of Business Operations Mary Sherpo in a news release. “Strengthened by our long-term partnership and local connection, ScottsMiracle-Gro and the Crew share a deep passion for our fans, our sport and Central Ohio that perfectly reflects how we strive to represent our Club and our city through the global game.”
The stadium itself has quickly become one of Columbus’ most high-profile venues, hosting the MLS All-Star Game, U.S. Men’s National Team matches and – of course – a string of sold-out Crew games over the past several seasons.
ScottsMiracle-Gro will also become the presenting partner of the Crew’s “Soccer in Schools” program, which brings soccer-focused curriculum and after-school programming to districts throughout Central Ohio. Both organizations framed the expanded partnership as a way to deepen community impact while aligning two Ohio-based brands with strong local ties.

“Soccer is a multicultural, family-oriented sport whose popularity is surging among people of all ages,” said Nate Baxter, ScottsMiracle-Gro President & COO, in a news release.
Although the Crew said the name won’t change until the 2026 season, the venue’s Wikipedia page was already updated with the new name Tuesday morning.
In a news release last week, the Crew said Lower.com will continue its relationship with the club as a “Proud Partner” under a new multi-year agreement, but it will no longer hold stadium naming rights.
Signage and branding updates are expected to roll out ahead of the 2026 season.
