New indoor-outdoor ice arena & amphitheater proposed on vacant Central Ohio farmland

Vacant farmland in Delaware could be transformed into an arena and amphitheater.
Ohio AAA Blue Jackets, the youth hockey program associated with the Columbus Blue Jackets, has proposed a new arena complete with indoor and outdoor hockey and an amphitheater on the corner of U.S. Route 42 and Sawmill Parkway. City documents show the proposal would be a 127,000 square foot building with three indoor hockey rinks and a performance amphitheater that turns into an outdoor hockey rink during winter time.
