Pirate-themed festival with treasure hunts, live music, markets, and more coming to Central Ohio next weekend

If you have an old mermaid or pirate costume collecting dust in your Halloween box in your basement, here’s your chance to bring it out.

The annual Buckeye Lake Pirate Festival is upon us! From May 16-18, take the trek out to Buckeye Lake to enjoy pirate-themed activities, such as a treasure hunt spanning 40 locations around Buckeye Lake, themed tours, a Pirate Ship Playland, an indoor pirate cove for the kids, and dozens of market vendors. Plus, live music, great food, and delicious drinks.

Costumes are highly encouraged!
