After the world-famous band Metallica played at Sonic Temple Art & Music Festival, held at the former Crew Stadium, they left behind a special gift to the community.

Through Metallica’s foundation, called All Within My Hands, which aims to fight food insecurity and provide services to communities, they donated a total of $65,000 to the local nonprofit, Worthington Resource Pantry. This also included funds from the famous clothing brand, Carhartt. Worthington Resource Pantries served over 12,000 people in the month of April alone.

On top of that donation, $40,000 was given to The Open Shelter, a local advocacy center and housing shelter serving those in Central Ohio with housing insecurities.

Thank you, Metallica!
