A Chicken and Beer festival is coming to Columbus

Jack McLaughlin

What’s better than a festival dedicated to craft beer? How about throwing in some chicken as well?

This year, the Chicken and Beer festival will return to Columbus on June 7, from 12-8 p.m.. It will be held at Dodge Park, and it’s free to attend.

The festival, which is now in its 7th year, will bring in ten of the city’s best food trucks, and ask them to prepare a special chicken dish that visitors can purchase. A Best Chicken Contest will even be held between 12-3 p.m. Likewise, 10 different local breweries will be asked to create a lineup of unique beers for the contest, with styles ranging from malty to hoppy, plus plenty of speciality options. The food trucks and breweries have not yet been announced.

The 2025 Chicken and Beer festival will also feature live music and family-friendly games.
