Brand new Saturday market series to be held along Scioto River Downtown

A new Downtown arts market is coming soon.

According to an announcement made on social media, the Scioto Arts Market will make its debut this spring.

The festival, which is billed as an “exciting fusion of makers markets and vibrant farmers markets,” will feature food trucks, live music, artisans and other pop-up vendors.

The Scioto Arts Market, which will hold its first event May 17, will take place in the National Veterans Memorial and Museum parking lot, which is located at 300 W. Broad St.

The market will be held once a month on Saturday from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Outside of the inaugural Scioto Arts Market, it will also be held this year on the following dates:

June 14
July 12
Aug. 9
Sept. 13
Oct. 18
