“I’m proud of the festival and brand we’ve built over the last few years and can’t wait to bring it to Columbus,” said founder and executive producer Nick Staples in a press release. “A festival of this magnitude takes an incredible amount of hands to get across the finish line, and I’m looking forward to the community experiencing all we have planned.”
The festival’s lineup, which was recently announced, includes Tinashe, Betty Who, Kaleena Zanders, Vincint, Molly Grace, Jaesyun, Crystal Envy, Luxx Noir London and the one and only Rebecca Black. Known internationally for her song Friday, which has 174 million views on YouTube, Black has pivoted in her musical career since her famous song dropped in 2011, and is now a respected DJ.
