‘People’ picks top Columbus restaurants to patronize during football season

While any football-driven college town in the fall is a good time, Columbus on Buckeye game day is a special place to be, and now even People is getting in on the fun.

On July 30, the publication released a “guide to the perfect day during football season” in Columbus.

For breakfast, People tapped Hangover Easy and Varsity Club. For lunch, it suggested Forno Kitchen + Bar in the Short North, and the popular campus sandwich spot Frenchi’s Deli. Fox in the Snow and Jeni’s Splendid Ice Creams were named as options for a mid-day sweet treat, followed by Marcella’s and Town Hall for dinner. As a late night snack, People mentioned the always-open Columbus institution Buckeye Donuts.
