Soberfest: Festival dedicated to sobriety coming to Franklin County Fairgrounds
Soberfest Ohio is just one month away.
The festival, which is dedicated to sober fun, will be held Aug. 31 from 11 a.m.-10 p.m. It will be held at the Franklin County Fairgrounds (not the Ohio Expo Center & State Fair), which is located at 4951 Northwest Pkwy. in Hilliard.
The event’s goal is to “show the newcomer, or those early in sobriety, you can still enjoy live music and have a great time while sober.”

While the lineup for this year hasn’t been released publicly, it will feature bands, food trucks, a family and kids zone and even sobriety-related resources.
The festival, which is now in its 13th year, was created when one its founders was in a treatment center. Missing the parties, fun and live music that were inextricably linked to alcohol, he aimed to provide these elements to other sober individuals in an alcohol-free setting.
