Columbus cat fans have one massive reason to celebrate: POP Cats is coming.
The traveling festival–which will also be making stops in Austin, Seattle and Portland–is billed as “Ohio’s ultimate cat convention.”
POP Cats will be held at the Ohio Expo Center & State Fairgrounds from 11 a.m.-5 p.m. on May 31 and from 11 a.m.-4 p.m. on June 1. Tickets are $25 for adults and $15 for children.

While a wide array of official POP Cat merch will also be available, the event will feature a number of cat-related crafters and artisans at the local and national levels as well. Visitors will be able to check out cat-related art exhibits, play feline video games, and even make their own toy at a DIY cat wand station.
And of course, there will be plenty of cats on hand. Visitors, who are encouraged to come in feline cosplay, will be able to bring their own cats to the event, and check out adoptable animals through local rescues.
