This Central Ohio city is holding ‘Wiener Dog Races’ later this month
Take your barks, get ready, and go. This weekend, Pataskala will be home to a dog race, but we’re not talking about greyhounds. We mean daschunds.
On Oct. 25, the Dachshund Dash & Spooktacular Bash will be held at the Pataskala Tractor Supply Co., which is located at 11309 Broad St. SW.

The event, which is free to attend, will feature contests for both dogs and children, local vendors and makers and even trick-or-treating for kids. Visitors are also encouraged to come in costume.
As its name suggests, the Pataskala event will also include ‘Wiener Dog Races’. Sign-up for the race is free, and if you don’t have a dachshund but still want to participate, don’t worry. One of the day’s four races will be dedicated to other dog breeds in hot dog costumes. You will need a hot dog costume, however.
