This Central Ohio pumpkin patch was named the best in the country by ‘USA Today’ readers

Pumpkin patches are a dime a dozen during the Halloween season, but one Central Ohio spot was tapped as the nation’s best by USA Today readers.

According to USA Today’s 10Best Readers Choice awards, Lehner’s Pumpkin Farm is the best pumpkin patch in the nation.

The farm is located at 2920 OH-203, about 45 minutes from Downtown Columbus.

At Lehner’s Pumpkin Farm, there are 15-plus acres of pick-your-own pumpkins, ranging from large carving ones to pie pumpkins — or just choose from a pre-picked and washed batch. Additionally, Lehner’s features loads of family-friendly activities, like pumpkin bowling, barrel rides, a corn maze, a real henhouse, and a historic Pumpkinville play village. There are farm animals, a climbing wall, and tractors to race, plus the fall foliage to enjoy.

Lehner’s was originally selected by USA Today as one of 20 finalists in the pumpkin patch category, and readers then voted to name the top 10.

Another Central Ohio farm, Sam’s Pumpkin Patch, was included in the original list of 20 finalists, but it did not make the top 10.
