This Columbus-area event was named the nation’s best cultural festival by ‘USA Today’ readers


According to USA Today readers, the nation’s best cultural festival is held right here in Central Ohio.
In the publication’s annual 10 Best Readers’ Choice awards, the Dublin Irish Festival was tapped as the best cultural festival in the entire country.

Dublin, Ohio, hosts the popular Dublin Irish Festival each summer. This love letter to all things Irish includes Irish dance performances, Celtic music, a Wee Folk play area for children, and traditional Irish food and drinks. Visitors can delve into the richness of Gaelic culture with literary presentations, hands-on workshops, and athletic demonstrations.
The event finished ahead of Lousiana’s Rougarou Fest at number 2 and the World Championship Outhouse Races at number 3.
This year, the Dublin Irish Festival will be held Aug. 1-3.
