‘USA Today’ writes feature on decades-old Columbus bookstore
Cover to Cover Books is a local favorite for finding cozy reads for young readers, ranging from toddlers to young adults. Known for regular Saturday morning story time, multiple reading clubs, and a stunning variety of picture books, the independently owned bookshop was recently featured with USA Today as ‘one of the oldest US children’s bookstores.’
Located at 2116 Arlington Ave, the Columbus bookstore is adjacent to the Upper Arlington neighborhood. Originally founded in 1980, the bookstore operates in a charming 100-year-old building as a welcome spot for children, families, and educators alike. Since its beginning, Cover to Cover has been a haven for small readers, often hosting popular author events.
Bryan Loar of Cover to Cover books told USA Today:

“Cover to Cover is proudest of fostering a love of reading over generations. Children who grew up going to Cover to Cover events with legends like Eric Carle and Helen Oxenbury are now parents who instill a love of stories in their children. Customers love our welcoming and inclusive shop, and they appreciate our active involvement in the community through our kindness initiative and events like the Columbus Book Festival, which draws tens of thousands of people.”
