113 year old Columbus bakery closing a location, opening another
A bakery that’s known for their legendary, homemade donuts, pastries, and cakes is closing their East side location. But it’s not all bad news—they’re still staying open, but just in another neighborhood.
When Resch’s announced last year that they’d be expanding to a second location in Gahanna, they originally told 614now that they’d be staying at their 4061 E. Livingston Ave. location, where they’ve resided since 1962.
But that’s no longer the case.
BROUGHT TO YOU BY
The Livingston Ave. location’s last day will be September 30th, according to employees. One employee told 614Now this morning that they’re very excited, and that the Livingston employees are able to transfer over to the Gahanna location once it’s open, which will be located at 150 N. Hamilton Rd.
A set date has yet to be announced for the Gahanna location, but an employee told us it should be about a week after the Livingston closure.
Resch’s has been serving Columbus delicious baked goods since 1912, and we’re happy to see it continuing to do so, even in a new location.
