50 Year Old Columbus Bakery For Sale

For decades, My Old World Bakery has been a community staple on the westside of Columbus near the Hilltop neighborhood. Located in the same building as Westside Slice at 962 Demorest Rd, the beloved spot is known for donuts, cookies, and Pączki leading up to the Lent season.

A recent community Facebook post from an associate broker at First Choice Business Brokers lists the bakery for sale. (614)NOW confirmed with the bakery owner by phone that the business is indeed for sale as she considers retirement.

Citing health issues and that whoever takes over the bakery needs to be able to make donuts, because “a bakery needs to have donuts,” the owner is ready for the next chapter.

The Facebook post details that the owner is selling the bakery that has been in the community for 50 years for $49,900. Anyone interested in purchasing can contact the associate broker through their contact information on the post.
Considering Food & Wine named Columbus as a top US bakery city in 2024, the spot has nothing but potential for whoever is looking to move in.
