A chicken wing spot with a ‘soulful twist’ is coming to the Columbus area

The Columbus area has a new kitchen on the scene, brought to you by a husband and wife duo whose “love language is chicken wings, comfort food, and bringing people together.”
Lovies is a newly opened minority and veteran-owned kitchen serving Southern comfort food “with a soulful twist” located in the Town Center Pub at 3998 Broadway in Grove City. Cooking up hot food with the tagline “We’re just winging it with love and soul,” the kitchen recently had their grand opening where they fried up nearly 100 pounds of chicken before selling out.
Lovies is offering soul food staples, including fried wings, mac n’ cheese, burgers, fries, their beloved collard greens and more, all available with their signature Lovies Sauce. According to the cooks, their special collard greens are fresh and hand-cut, with “no tough, chewy stems” before being slow-simmered with smoked turkey. Yum! A look at their full menu can be found here.

The owners shared on Facebook that they have long dreamed of bringing soul food to the community and “have finally made the dream a reality. As a Grove City native, it’s even more special to see it come to life right here in our own community.”
Lovies is open for dine-in or carry out from 5:00 p.m. – 11:00 p.m. during Town Center Pub hours, where customers can grab a bite to eat inside or out on the patio. While the Town Center Pub is 21+, younger guests are allowed to enter to place a Lovies order.
Grab your extra napkins (or don’t be shy about licking those fingers) and get ready for some hot, fresh southern cooking. Follow Lovies on their Facebook page at LoviesKitchen614 for upcoming menu items–like cornbread and desserts–and online ordering, coming soon!
